1:40 - 2:30 PM: From Good to Great – Navigating the Experience Economy

The battle for the hearts and minds of the customer is kicking into a new gear as digital laggards strive to close the gap on the leaders – and the leaders are taking steps to get and stay ahead! The challenge today is that customers expect a great experience – so just offering a good experience isn’t enough. We need to build and continuously improve digital and physical customer experiences that are personalized, memorable and consistent with our brand values. To achieve this requires agile processes and modern technology. But many businesses are experiencing a digital skills shortage – while increasing costs and supply chain disruptions are further impacting the customer experience. In his presentation, Tim Sheedy – Principal Advisor at Ecosystem – will answer the following questions:

  • What are customer expectations today and how are they changing?
  • What steps should Australian businesses take to meet changing customer priorities?
  • What are businesses doing to thrive in the Experience Economy?
  • What is the role of automation in helping businesses overcome skills, supply chain and cost challenges?
  • How are businesses getting better clarity into their customers’ wants and needs?
